What to Expect in Therapy


Therapy is a sacred space where you can untangle emotions, explore patterns, and step more fully into yourself. It offers insight, clarity, and tools to navigate life’s challenges, helping you connect with your inner strength and wisdom. Being seen and heard in this space can feel like magic for the soul, and over time, the changes you create can ripple through your life in powerful ways. At the same time, therapy can be intense and sometimes uncomfortable, as it asks you to sit with big feelings and face what you’ve been avoiding. Healing takes patience and consistency, there’s no instant magic and not every approach or therapist will feel like the perfect fit. But with the right space and guidance, the journey can be deeply transformative, empowering, and ultimately nourishing for mind, body and spirit!


What is a Therapeutic Modality?

A therapeutic modality is just a fancy way of saying how I work with you, the tools, approaches, and techniques I bring to support your healing and growth. Some methods help calm your mind, some help process past experiences, and some help you discover your inner strength and wisdom.


I use whatever feels right for you in the moment, mixing different approaches like ingredients in a recipe. There’s no one-size-fits-all path to healing and we’ll explore what works best for you, together, in a way that’s safe, supportive, and true to who you are.
